What can I do now to straighten out my books?

At a very minimum you should have some basic accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero. These systems are set up for the non-accountant (ie business owner) to be used at a simple level.

Both include tutorials and online resources to get you a very basic setup. We offer resources and basic training if that sounds more manageable, just feel free to reach out. 


How long does it take to get started?

It all depends on how much lead time you give us, the scope of the engagement and your capacity to affect a smooth transition. Generally it takes 15 to 30 days to get the average client onboarded depending on the above mentioned items.


Do I still need in-house bookkeeping or accounting staff?

This all depends on your size and the complexity of your transactions. We have clients with internal accounting staff who are managed by our team as well as clients with no internal staff and entirely managed by Hatcher CFO.


What is the difference between Hatcher CFO SOLUTIONS and hiring a local bookkeeper?

Hatcher CFO Solutions is NOT a bookkeeping firm. We serve growing businesses to provide strategic financial guidance.
